Wanås Slott

rogers&co helped Wanås a 4,500 hectare estate in northern Skåne, Sweden with the development of a strategy for the establishment of accommodations, deli, restaurant, organic food store and a flexible space for small corporate meetings or workshops.

The estate is already a leader in the arts, education and sustainability through its Swedish and international contemporary art exhibition and its acclaimed organic dairy farming and forestry practices.

Wanås is also a member of the Zeitz Foundation’s Long Run Philosophy. The next stages are exploring innovative accommodation and facility design so that guests may enjoy immersive and authentic ‘place based’ experiences during their stay on the estate.

Seasonal cuisine with locally sourced organic ingredient; nature and cultural walking and cycling; wildlife observation and hands on learning experiences plus cuisine and arts oriented workshops will introduce guests to the charm and authenticity of Skåne.
